it should snow only on christmas or maybe for the whole month of december. for a month everyone can sled ride and build snowmen and snowforts and drink hot chocolate and bladeskate in a circle and sleep in during two hour delays and bundle up under five layers of clothing to scowl at the bus stop. one month, tops- rest of the time it should be 75, there should be leaves and flowers and green and girls in sundresses or less and open windows and boxfans and baseball and sandals and ice cream with miniature peanut butter cups and you should be able to walk outside, take a deep breath of rejuvenation and remember why it can be so good to be alive.

welcome to spring cleaning at the akrasia mansion. thank you for supporting our habit. this collection contains 18 tracks, the very new, not so new, and really damn old. you prolly haven't heard any of it, so it's all new to you. spring starts off with four tracks left over from the sessions from our next all-new album aphrodite kallipygos. in the middle are some home demos, some songs we forgot about, tomfoolery, and tracks dating back to the ochaos era..the live tracks are bootleg-quality recordings taped by fans at a couple of our spring '06 shows featuring our current incarnation.
we didn't know what to do with them and don't actually have any other live tapes, so they've been included.
we've often been told that our shows sound nothing like the albums, or even much like our other shows for that matter. no use saving them for the anthology box set n' at. the best is yet to come - bill
